The President of the Christian Association of Nigerian, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor has lashed out at Mallam Nasir El-Rufai over his claim that his (Oritsejafor’s) private jet was bought by President Goodluck Jonathan and not by members of his church as he claimed.
The feud between the two started when El-Rufai alleged that Oritsejafor’s private jet was a gift from the President. Oritsejafor had claimed that his private jet was a gift from the members of his church and not from the President.
The CAN president said arrogantly that El-Rufai was too small for him; hence he would not give him a dignified response.
He said, “I would only be dignifying him if a person at my level starts exchanging words with a small person like El-Rufai. He is too small. I will not dignify him with a response. People responded. They told him that since he knew who gave the gift, he should provide the proof, which he hasn’t done to this day. Obviously, he didn’t have any proof. This is the problem with Nigeria. We continue to celebrate people like El-Rufai. He is too small for me. I won’t waste my time on him.”
