Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has issued a rallying cry ahead of tomorrow’s crucial home clash, emphasizing the need for adaptability and improvement.
Flick acknowledged that every game presents a unique challenge, requiring a tailored game plan.
“We will have to do things differently,” Flick asserted. “We analyzed the Villarreal game, and there are many areas that need enhancement. We haven’t reached our full potential yet; we can always do better.”
On team selection, Flick hinted that Lamine Yamal won’t be rested, citing his impressive form. “Lamine doesn’t look like he needs a rest. We’re playing at home, and we must start with our strongest eleven.”
Flick praised goalkeeper Iñaki Peña’s professionalism, suggesting he’s ready to step in when needed. “We trust him, but we’ll discuss it further.”
The Barcelona boss expressed no surprise at Robert Lewandowski’s six-goal haul, instead highlighting the importance of supporting players. “Lewandowski needs teammates to create scoring opportunities. That’s our focus – to play well for the fans.”
Flick also lauded Raphinha’s dynamic start and selfless team ethic. “Raphinha’s doing his best, and everyone loves him in the locker room. He puts the team first, and that’s what matters.”
