American singer Halle Bailey and rapper Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., better known as DDG, have officially called it quits on their relationship.
The news broke on Thursday, October 3, when DDG took to Instagram to announce their mutual decision to part ways.
“After a lot of reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways,” DDG shared through his Instagram stories.
Although they are no longer together as a couple, the rapper emphasized that their bond remains strong. He reassured fans that their primary focus now is co-parenting their son, Halo, who was born in late 2023, and continuing to support each other in their individual careers.
“Despite the changes, our love for each other is still deep. We’re best friends and always will be,” DDG wrote, adding that they are committed to embracing their own personal journeys while being there for their child.
The couple, who started dating in January 2022, captured the hearts of fans with their love story, and while their romantic chapter may have ended, their friendship and dedication to family remain.
