Gunmen strike again in Dabna, Adamawa, many feared dead

Gunmen attacked the village of Dabna in Adamawa State, Nigeria. Nelson James, who saw what happened, said that the gunmen came in two Toyota cars and started shooting around six in the evening on Wednesday.

He confirmed that two people, Hebron Yaduma and Ezra, were killed. James tried to take them to Hong General Hospital but had to stop on the way.

James heard the gunmen speaking Kanuri, but he couldn’t tell if they were from Boko Haram or kidnappers.

He’s really worried because the insecurity in the area is getting worse. He thinks the only thing they can do is protest.

“We are protesting to tell the whole world that no one is protecting us and our attackers are having their field day on us.” James Said

“We’re tired of all the attacks in our community. I can’t even count how many times it’s happened. Some places are empty because people are scared,” James said.

When they asked the police for information, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje said they’re still trying to find out more. He promised to let everyone know when they have more details.

In the northern regions of Nigeria, there is a significant problem with security, which means that people don’t feel safe.

This lack of security is causing a lot of worry and distress among the population. Sadly, it seems like every day there are reports of violence and killings happening in these areas.

This situation is deeply concerning because it means that many individuals and communities are living in constant fear and uncertainty about their safety and well-being.
