Report reaching the News Chronicle shows that 7 persons have been killed in a twin attack that happened at Pukah and Pinper communities in Mangu LGA, Plateau State.
The ugly incident occurred at the early hours of Thursday, November 30, 2023. Sources say that six men and a female were killed during the attack in the Pukah community. Also, the gunmen reportedly carted away with sheep and other domestic animals in the Pinper community.
According to a resident of the Pukah community, John Mark, who confirmed the killings to Punch in Jos, was quoted saying;
“The Pukah community in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State came under heavy attack by gunmen early this morning (Thursday). They also attacked another community in the council area known as Pinper”.
“In the Pukah community, they killed one lady and six men. But in Pinper, they stole several numbers of sheep before they fled the communities,”
As of press time, there was no official statement from authorities of the Nigerian Police in the area to comment on the matter.
