The Executive Chairman of Akwanga Local Government Council, Mr Safiyanu Isah, has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen.
The Council Chairman was abducted on Monday night January 1st 2024 along Akwanga-Andaha road.
Media aide to the Isah, Kamal Dauda Rija made this known in a statement made available to journalists.
The council Chairman was kidnapped alongside a Philanthropist popularly known as Adamu Custom.
As of press time, the kidnappers have not reached out to the family on the payment of ransom.
