The remains of fast-rising singer Ifunanya Nwangene were laid to rest on Friday in her hometown in Nkanu East, Enugu State, bringing tears and closure to a tragedy that has shaken fans and the music community.
The 26-year-old artiste died after suffering a snakebite at her residence on January 31, 2026. She was later confirmed dead at the Federal Medical Centre, Abuja.
Reports indicate that the young singer who had been gaining attention for her powerful vocals and growing fan base visited two medical facilities in search of treatment but was unable to access life-saving anti-venom.
