Governor Sule Pledges Better Welfare For Teachers In Nasarawa

Nasarawa state Governor Abdullahi Sule has assured public school teachers in Nasarawa State of improved welfare package as well as training and retraining for enhanced quality delivery. 

Sule gave this assurance on Saturday, October 5 at an event organized by the state’s Nigerian Union of Teachers to mark this year’s World Teachers’ Day.

The event held at the Government Science School, Lafia also had in attendance his Deputy, Dr. Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe and other top officials of the State Government.

According to reports, 70 percent of structures of the public primary and secondary schools in the state are severely dilapidated, suffering acute shortage of conducive classrooms, furniture, teachers and other basic learning facilities.
