Governor Radda Distributes N45,000 to Katsina Workers for Eid-l-Kabir

In preparation for the upcoming Eid-l-Kabir celebrations, Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda has authorized a financial support package totaling N45,000 for each employee working under the State Unified Local Government Service and the Local Education Authorities.
This initiative, aimed at alleviating the financial burden on civil servants during the festive period, was announced by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, on Saturday.
The financial assistance is divided into two parts. The first component is a N30,000 loan or advance, which employees will repay in three monthly installments of N10,000 each, spread across July, August, and September.
The second component is a N15,000 Sallah gift designed to help every worker in the state participate in the Eid-l-Kabir festivities without financial constraints.
Malam Falalu Bawale, the Katsina State Head of Service, expressed deep gratitude for the governor’s initiative.
He emphasized that this financial aid will bring much-needed relief to numerous households, enabling them to celebrate Eid with joy and ease.
Governor Radda’s Senior Special Assistant on Digital Media, Isah Miqdad, also confirmed this development on Saturday through a post on the social media platform X.
He wrote: “His Excellency the Governor of Katsina State, Mal Dikko Umaru Radda, PhD, CON, has taken a commendable step towards enhancing the well-being of the workers in Katsina State. I am delighted to inform you that he has given his approval for the disbursement of a loan/advance and Sallah Package, amounting to N45,000.00 for each worker in the State Unified Local Government Service and Local Education Authorities.
In order to facilitate convenient repayment, an installment of N30,000 will be deducted from the workers’ salaries in the months of July, August, and September, with each installment amounting to N10,000. Additionally, the Governor has generously granted a Sallah Package of N15,000 to every worker. May Allah bless him and grant him success in all his endeavors for the betterment of Katsina State, amen.”
This initiative by Governor Radda underscores his commitment to improving the welfare of civil servants in Katsina State, particularly during significant cultural and religious celebrations like Eid-l-Kabir.
The financial package is expected to ease the financial pressures on workers and enable them to enjoy the festive period with their families and communities.
