Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, is reportedly preparing to defect from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to the APC Chairman in Adamawa State, Barrister Idris Shuaibu, Governor Fintiri has already joined the APC and is expected to make a formal public declaration soon, possibly before the middle of the month.
Shuaibu made the claim in Yola while receiving a 2027 governorship aspirant, Engineer Diaulhaq Abubakar, who officially declared his intention to contest under the APC platform.
