The administration of Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni has initiated a significant cash transfer program aimed at alleviating the hardships faced by vulnerable individuals across the state.Â
Over the past few days, hundreds of less privileged individuals, including the elderly, those suffering from chronic illnesses, and people with special needs, have received N90,000 each as part of the governor’s welfare initiative.
The program, which has entered its third day, is being managed by the Yobe State Cash Transfer Unit, led by Ali Madu Kagu.
The team visited various local government areas, including Potiskum, Nangere, and Fika, to continue the disbursement of funds.
This initiative is part of Governor Buni’s commitment to supporting those most in need during these challenging times.
During the cash distribution, the State Programme Manager, Ali Madu Kagu, conveyed the governor’s message of compassion to the beneficiaries.
He emphasized that the program was designed to address the current economic difficulties faced by the people and to provide direct financial support to improve their well-being.
Governor Buni’s administration aims to ease the burdens of those most affected by the ongoing economic challenges in the country, with a focus on the elderly, the chronically ill, and individuals living with disabilities.
