Gov. Fintiri empowers 10,000 business owners with N50,000 each to tackle the tough economy

—

In a ceremony held at Mahmud Ribadu Square, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State made an important announcement to support micro-business owners in the state.

He assured them that they would receive disbursements totaling fifty thousand naira each.

This initiative, facilitated through the Poverty Alleviation and Wealth Creation Agency, marks a significant step towards improving the socio-economic conditions of the people and promoting inclusive growth across all sectors of the economy.

Governor Fintiri emphasized the crucial role that micro-businesses play in local communities, driving innovation, creating jobs, and contributing to overall prosperity.

He explained that the decision to provide cash grants to ten thousand micro-business owners reflects the government’s commitment to reducing poverty and empowering entrepreneurs to succeed in a competitive market.

Recognizing the challenges faced by micro-business owners, such as limited access to capital and resources, Governor Fintiri stressed that these cash grants are not simply handouts but strategic investments in the future of Adamawa State.

They aim to stimulate growth, enhance productivity, and facilitate the expansion of businesses to new heights.

The governor urged beneficiaries to utilize the funds wisely, invest in their businesses, and seize the opportunities ahead.

He encouraged them to view this moment as a catalyst for innovation, creativity, and enterprise development, regardless of their field or background.

Governor Fintiri commended the Poverty Alleviation and Wealth Creation Agency for their efforts in implementing the program and called upon all stakeholders, including government agencies, civil society organizations, and the private sector, to collaborate in supporting micro-business owners.

Highlighting the government’s commitment to leaving no one behind, Governor Fintiri emphasized that this initiative is part of a series of efforts to improve the lives of the people, especially during challenging economic times.

He stressed that while the individual amount may seem small, it has the potential to unlock opportunities for wealth and prosperity for determined business entities.

Governor Fintiri expressed his honor and privilege in launching the distribution of the Fintiri Business Wallet, providing economic support to 10,000 beneficiaries for the development of Adamawa State and the greater glory of God.
