Gombe Governor Rewards Qur’anic Champion With N5m

Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has rewarded Hajara Ibrahim, a young indigene of the state, for emerging champion at an international Qur’anic recitation competition in Jordan.
Hajara represented Nigeria at the international competition, where she distinguished herself and emerged victorious in the Qur’anic recitation contest.
In recognition of her outstanding achievement, Governor Yahaya awarded her a cash gift of N5 million, a Hajj seat, and a scholarship covering her education from undergraduate studies through PhD level.
The governor’s gesture is aimed at celebrating Hajara’s achievement and encouraging other young people in Gombe State to pursue excellence in Qur’anic studies and other areas of education.
Hajara’s victory has also brought recognition to Nigeria and Gombe State, highlighting the achievements of young Nigerians on the international stage.
