It will be to the best interest of Anambra people, that Governor Chukwuma Soludo is allowed an uninterrupted eight years in the state saddle, to actualize his Solution Manifesto.
The Anambra State Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Chief Sir Ifeatu Obi-Okoye gave the opinion while reacting in a chat with TNC correspondent in Awka, to the maiden Anambra Youths Conference held over the weekend in Awka, Anambra State Capital.
The event held at the Prof Dora Akunyili Women Development Centre, Awka, saw the youths interact with the governor, listen to his vision for a better future for the youths, as well as make their own inputs, as to how government efforts at youth empowerment can benefit them more.
Chief Obi-Okoye, who was at the event, observed that never in the history of the state, has any governor exhibited genuine commitment towards youths development, as is seen with the Soludo administration.
He noted that the interaction which the governor had with the youths, as well as the numerous media appearances he has been making, goes a long way to show that the governor is committed to running a transparent and responsive government.
The interactions, he also said, bears eloquent testimony to the governor’s decision to carry the people along in his government.
The Anambra APGA boss, while emphasizing that youths have a major role to play in the realization of the lofty vision of Mr Governor for the development of the state, solicited their support towards the governor’s policies.
He also harped on the need for the youths to identify with the APGA, a movement he said, is founded on the principles of equity, justice, and good governance.
In his words; “By the time Governor Soludo completes his eight years as governor of Anambra State, the state will be a shining example in all indices of good governance.
“The thoroughness he has brought to the state administration, especially as it concerns youth development, will ensure that Anambta youths in the near future, will be the best among their contemporaries, in terms of technology, entrepreneurship, innovation and every other positive endeavour.
“We therefore encourage our people not to miss this golden opportunity which God has given our people through our great party APGA and the gift of Governor Soludo.
”Together, we will support the governor to build the liveable and prosperous homeland he has envisioned for the state.”
