German Parliament Legalises Cannabis Possession, Cultivation

Despite fierce objections from opposition groups, reports have it that the German parliament has on Friday 23 February 2024 voted in favour of legalizing the possession and controlled cultivation of cannabis beginning in April.

It was gathered that under the new law, it will be possible to obtain the drug for personal use through regulated cannabis cultivation associations, as well as to have up to three plants at home.
