Fulham wins big, Chelsea dented at Park, while Manchester City triumphs over spirited Luton

The English Premier League actions continued today after some upset was observed yesterday. Chelsea were beaten by Everton, while Manchester City came from behind to triumph against spirited Luton Town. Advantageous Liverpool, who took edged 10-man Crystal Palace yesterday, moved to the top of the log after Arsenal encountered a slim defeat to Aston Villa.

Chelsea were beaten 2-0 at Goodison Park by Everton, all thanks to goals from L. Doucoure and L. Dobbins, which were scored 58th and 90+2 minutes respectively. Regardless of the 10-point deduction faced, Everton has now shifted out from the danger zone with 13 points. Chelsea dropped to 12th place with 19 points.

Defending Champions, Manchester City, came from a goal down to earn all massive three points against resilience Luton Town, who led half-time by 1-0. Bernardo Silva and Jack Grealish’s goals salvage all points for City. Despite the Victory,, City still sits behind Liverpool, Arsenal, and Aston Villa in the Premier League table.

Fulham records the biggest victory today following their 5-0 victory over their visitors at the Craven Cottage. It’s Fulham’s successive 5-0 win in their last two games in the league, having beaten Nottingham Forest during the weekdays. Fulham pushed to the mid-table with just 3 points below the Hammers.
