Fulham FC is preparing to make an improved bid for Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay, increasing their offer to £25 million, which aligns with United’s asking price.
The Athletic reports that Fulham’s initial bid of around £17 million was rejected, but negotiations for the 27-year-old are ongoing.
McTominay, who has progressed from United’s academy but has struggled to secure a regular starting position, is open to a move. United is not actively seeking to offload him, but balancing the books and raising funds for new signings makes his sale a possibility.
Aside from Fulham, other clubs like Galatasaray and Tottenham Hotspur have also shown interest in McTominay. Fulham, along with Liverpool, is one of the few teams actively looking to make significant signings this summer.
McTominay began his career with Manchester United at the academy level and was promoted to the senior team in 2017. Since then, he has made 252 appearances and scored 37 goals.
