Victory announced. Dancing. Hope.
I am in white with the brown cap beside Senator Ademola Adeleke.
Yesterday, he won again. Congratulations sir.
But between joy and victory, the same vices showed up:
Hunger in the land. Frozen government accounts. Imposed candidates. Threats. Ballot stuffing. Vote buying.
Senator Babafemi Ojudu listed 15 reasons APC lost Osun. Four of them point to one truth: _the system is broken._
Invasion by governors. Insults that backfired. Boasting about power instead of service.
Yet Point 12 on his list gives me hope:
_“The people of Osun — a determined and fearless people who confronted thugs deployed to seize ballot boxes.”_
That is Nigeria’s future.
Femi Kuti told us: _“The institutions are the problem.”_
Sowore told us: _“We keep changing drivers but the car is faulty.”_
Ojudu has now confirmed it from inside the house.
Osun 2022 and Osun 2026 prove it.
Young people are watching. “Japa” is not just about money. It is about hopelessness.
When elections mean blood and buying, faith dies.
But when culture, strategy, and courage meet — dance steps, Davido, debate prep, media — the people can still speak.
_WITNESS 2026_ is our response.
Not to attack persons. To diagnose the system and design a new model.
Independent institutions. Consequences without party. Votes that count. Lives that are safe.
Until then, we will keep dancing in one photo…
And mourning in the next.
