First Lady sympathises with the Kogi State Governor, Kogi State people

ABUJA (Office of the First Lady Report) – The First Lady of Nigeria, Patience Jonathan has expressed her condolence to the Kogi State Governor, Idris Wada, (Captain Rtd) and the people of Kogi State over the death of Pa Wada Ejiga, the father of the Governor who passed away recently

The First Lady described late Pa Ejiga as a great philanthropist and beloved community leader, who would forever be celebrated as a highly respected patriarch and mentor for his indelible mark as one of the early educationists in the Igala Kingdom.

Patience Jonathan observed that the death of Pa Ejiga occurred when his fatherly counsel, experience and wisdom was needed, especially in the Governor’s onerous task of piloting the affairs of the State. She urged the Governor, his entire family as well as the people of Kogi State to take solace in the knowledge that Pa Ejiga lived a life of fulfillment and bequeathed a great and enduring legacy. She prayed for his gentle soul to rest in perfect peace.
