Benin – The Edo State governor, Adams Oshiomhole has prevented what would have degenerated into a clash between the First Lady, Patience Jonathan and Aisha Buhari, wife of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari, reports The News.
The clash is over the use of the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium by wives of the two leading contenders in the March 28 presidential election.
The First Lady is expected to address a rally in the city on Saturday, the same day that Aisha Buhari, was also scheduled to deliver a message of change to the women in the state.

While Aisha Buhari had booked to use the facility since last week, the First Lady only made a booking on Tuesday.
The governor has, however, given the First Lady the nod to use the venue on Saturday.
He pleaded with Aisha Buhari to allow the First Lady use the stadium in a bid to allow peace reign in the state.
