FIFA INT’L FRIENDLY: Nigeria ends four games winless streak against Ghana

The Super Eagles of Nigeria has beaten the Black Stars of Ghana to end it’s horrible streak of four games without victory against it’s neighbours. Cyriel Dessers’ and Ademola Lookman’s glorious goals separated both teams after the full time in Stade de Marrakech, Morocco as Jordan Ayew’s late consolation goal couldn’t savage a draw for the Black Stars.

Nigeria attempted seven shots on goal, out of which two were on target, while Ghana had only two attempted shots, of which one was on goal.

Second half: Ghana made double substitutions, but ten minutes later, they received a red card for Jérôme Opoku’s unsportsmanlike foul, leaving them with only ten players on the field. Despite being a man down, Ghana performed exceptionally well, with a 51% possession against Nigeria’s 49%. Nigeria extended their lead to 2-0 with an impressive goal by Ademola Lookman.
