FG to Repatriate 270 More Nigerians from South Africa Wednesday

The Federal Government is set to receive another batch of 270 Nigerians returning voluntarily from South Africa on Wednesday as part of its ongoing evacuation efforts.

According to a statement issued on Monday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ spokesperson, Kimiebi Ebienfa, an Air Peace aircraft designated for the exercise will depart Lagos for Johannesburg on Tuesday, July 7, 2026.

The ministry said the aircraft is scheduled to leave the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, at 3:30 p.m. and arrive in Johannesburg at midnight to airlift the returnees.

The flight is expected to land back at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos at about 5:00 a.m. on Wednesday with the 270 Nigerians on board.
