The Nigeria Football Federation confirmed that certificates for the houses and plots of land were formally presented to the players at their camp in Fez, Morocco. The presentation comes months after the team secured a second place finish at the AFCON finals, where they lost narrowly to the host nation.
President Tinubu had earlier honoured the squad at the Presidential Villa, conferring national awards on each member in recognition of their performance and the pride they brought to the country. The fulfilment of the housing pledge marks a key follow through on that commitment by the federal government.

In addition to the housing rewards, the squad and technical officials also received specially branded wristwatches through a partnership involving the NFF, further reinforcing backing for their renewed title push.
