The Federal Government has appointed Dr. Ikrama Hassan as the Acting Chief Medical Director of the newly established Federal University of Lafia Teaching Hospital, Lafia, Nasarawa State.
Mr Hassan was presented with the appointment letter in a brief ceremony on Friday, September 20th in Abuja.
This development now presents the Lafia-based Teaching Hospital with its pioneer Chief Medical Director, CMD.
Until his recent appointment, Hassan was the Chief Medical Director of the state-owned Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital, Lafia before it was taken over and converted into a Teaching Hospital following a request by the State Government.
