Federal Polytechnic Bauchi Installs CCTV Cameras in Exam Halls to Combat Exam Malpractice

—

The Federal Polytechnic Bauchi has recently taken a significant step to curb examination malpractice by installing Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras in all its exam halls.

This move is part of the institution’s broader efforts to ensure that students maintain integrity during their examinations.

The newly installed CCTV cameras will enable the institution to closely monitor students while they are writing exams, making it easier to identify and address any incidents of cheating or other forms of malpractice.

By introducing this advanced surveillance technology, the polytechnic aims to foster a culture of honesty and discipline among its students, ensuring that academic results reflect genuine effort and knowledge.

According to the management, the CCTV system will also serve as a deterrent to those contemplating unethical behavior during exams.

This proactive measure underscores the institution’s commitment to upholding high academic standards and producing graduates who excel based on merit.
