Federal Government launches new analytical research laboratory in Yola

The Federal Government recently opened a new laboratory in Yola, which is in the North East zone.

This laboratory is part of the Federal Institute of Industrial Research and focuses on analyzing things.

It was inaugurated on Monday. The main goal of this laboratory is to help preserve food so that it can be exported from the North East region.

Mrs. Esuabana Asanye, who is the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Innovation, Science, and Technology, talked about the importance of using science and technology to help the country’s economy grow.

She mentioned that the ministry wants to encourage the development of businesses and entrepreneurship through technology.

The Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology, Uche Nnaji, mentioned that the new office in Yola will work on creating new technologies that support entrepreneurship. The aim is to help farmers, fishermen, and small businesses grow.

Dr. Jummai Adamu, who is the Director General of the Institute of Industrial Research, also spoke about the institute’s role. They want to help people learn new skills that can help them find jobs.

Professor Kaletapwa Farauta, the Deputy Governor of Adamawa State, talked about the government’s commitment to supporting technology.

They are investing in scholarships for students who want to study science and technology courses in colleges and universities. This investment is aimed at helping society grow and improve through technology.
