The former Governor of Rivers State and current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has announced that the Federal Capital Territory will be launching its buses and taxi scheme next month.
Wike made this announcement during an interactive session with Estate Developers and Residents’ Associations at the FCDA Conference Hall in Abuja on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.
The FCT Minister went on to disclose that under his leadership, the FCT has generated a total of N110 billion within a span of three months. He emphasized that the saved funds would be utilized for the expedited completion of projects in the FCT.
“Three months in office, I can tell you authoritatively that I have saved not less than N110 billion for the FCT, and this money will be allocated to projects so that people will indeed see that the taxes we are paying are being utilized for the benefit of the people,” he added.
