Staff of the First City Monument Bank (FCMB) branch in the Secretariat area of Lagos were shocked on arriving at work early morning to find the office door locked from the inside.
Despite repeated knocks, there was no response. Security personnel eventually forced the door open and what they discovered left everyone stunned.
A man, suspected of being an internet fraudster, was found hiding in the bank’s ceiling.

Authorities believe he had attempted to break into the bank overnight, possibly to hack into its systems, but got trapped inside. Investigations are ongoing.
