Several media posts have claimed that Naira Marley and one of his associate, Sam Larry are now in police custody over the death of singer, Mohbad.
CLAIM: Naira Marley and Sam Larry have been arrested!!! They will be questioned over the viral video of assualt against demised singer, “Mohbad”.
VERIFICATION: The News Chronicle ran a verification check to authenticate the claim but no evidence of arrest of the two personalities was found. Although, the Nigerian Police Force has invited both Naira Marley and Sam Larry for questioning. As of the time of writing this report, Naira Marley is not in Nigeria although he recently released a statement on Instagram stating that he will soon be in Nigeria to honour the police invite.
