Europa League: Victor Boniface scored as Leverkusen ran riot on Swedish side Hacken

Super Eagles forward Victor Boniface continues to show his fine form for Bundesliga Liga side Bayer Leverkusen. Bayer Leverkusen in their first game in group H of the UEFA Europa League hosted Swedish side Hacken at the Bay Arena, Leverkusen.

Boniface assisted the first goal scored by Floran Wirtz just 10 minutes into the game. Alonso’s men extended their lead to 2-0 just 6 minutes later. During the second half, at exactly 66 minutes, Boniface handed his club a 3-0 lead. Hoffman’s 70th-minute goal made it a 4-0 emphatic triumph for Leverkusen at home.

Leverkusen sits at the top of Group H, with 3 goals difference ahead of Qarabag who also sealed a three-point win over Molde.

In the Bundesliga, Boniface has netted four goals and made two assists to his name in his four appearances already.

In the German DFB Pokal, the 22-year-old has registered a goal, making his tally to 6 goals in 6 appearances this season.
