EPL: Kai Havertz’s late strike against Brentford fires Arsenal to the top

Arsenal clinched a late-minute victory against Brentford, thanks to Kai Havertz’s decisive goal, sending them to the top of the Premier League table.

Despite initially taking the lead through Declan Rice’s goal, Brentford equalized just before halftime with a goal from Yoane Wissa. With Arsenal needing a win to capitalize on the Liverpool-Manchester City match, their dominant possession paid off as Havertz’s late strike secured all three points.

The win propelled Arsenal to the summit of the Premier League with 64 points, a position they’ll maintain if the Liverpool-Manchester City match ends in a draw.
