As the lingering #EndSARS protest continue to flame, Nigerian musician, Innocent Ujah Idibia popularly known as 2Baba has sued for the need to shut down the nation until the President Muhammadu Buhari government meet the demands of the protesters.
The music star who made the call on his official Twitter handle said there is no reason for people to continue going to work in this period.
“I wonder why everybody is still going to work. We need total shutdown until these politicians start to answer!! Unless them wan use sars come pursue us go work #EndSARS #EndPoliceBrutality #endimpunity #endlooting Make only market for essential things dey”
2face also averred that the ongoing protest has shown that the leaders of the Nigeria Labour Congress have only been interested in their personal interest.
“So I take it that Naija Labour Congress was not doing strikes for the betterment of Naija workers but for personal interest because I don’t understand their inaction in all this. #endsars #endimpunity #endlooting #EndBadGovernmentinNIGERIA”
