#EndSARS: Those Responsible for the killings should be brought to book – EU

The European Union has expressed sadness over the killings of #EndSARS protesters in Nigeria.

The body, in a statement on Wednesday by its High Representative and Vice President, Foreign Policy Chief and Security, Josep Borrell, said it is expedient that those behind the killings be brought to book.

“It is alarming to learn that several people have been killed and injured during the ongoing protests against the Special Anti-Robbery Squad in Nigeria.

“It is crucial that those responsible for abuses be brought to justice and held accountably.

“Following the Government’s will to deliver on reforms, we expect to see decisive implementation,” he said.
