In this interview, the CEO of Divine Venture Cosmetology ltd tells us about his company and proffers advice to other young aspiring entrepreneurs.

My Name is Okoh Andrew Sunday. I am the founder of Divine Venture Cosmetology ltd

Can you tell us about your business – what the company does, the number of people you employ, the challenges you face?

This is skills acquisition and entrepreneurship development training company. The aim is to empower young people on how to realise and utilize their creative energies to create jobs for themselves.  The company also manufactures hair shampoo, liquid soap (dish washer) and antiseptics.

For now, we do not have enough staff but we are looking forward to expanding the business.

What will you consider the achievements of your business so far? 

Being able to give new skills to young Nigerians, engaging them and helping them to create jobs for themselves.

How do you think the government can encourage you?

Government can help us by patronizing our products and banning the importation of similar products. It can also help us to export our products to small neighboring countries.

What will be your advice to aspiring entrepreneurs?

As an entrepreneur, always believe in yourself.  Business involves a lot of risks.  Perseverance is a major key to the success in business.
