Legendary British singer Elton John has confirmed his retirement from touring.
The 77-year-old singer told Entertainment Tonight in a recent interview that he will never tour again.
His final concert took place last July in Stockholm, Sweden.
“After the last show in Stockholm on the farewell tour, I got in the car and went, ‘Yes! Yes!’ We went out on the biggest high, just the way I wanted to, and there’s no going back after that,” he said.
Elton John’s farewell tour, which ended early last year, earned $939 million (£749 million) over 328 shows. It was the highest-grossing music tour in history until Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras’ tour broke the record, earning $1 billion in revenue.
