Ebie, Congratulates Uduaghan, Former Delta State Governor on His 70th Birthday Celebration

…..Urges the former governor to see the day as a moment for Self-Introspection, offer of Praises To God.

Mr. Chiedu Ebie, Chairman, Governing Board of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), has congratulated the former Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan, on his 70th birthday celebration, wishing him many more years in good health of mind and body.

Ebie’s statement was contained in a release dated Tuesday October 22, 2024, signed by his Media Aide, Jerome-Mario Utomi, and made available to the press in Lagos.

According to the statement, Mr. Ebie described the former Governor as a trained Medical Doctor, an accomplished public officer who served as Governor of Delta State from 2007 to 2015, where he appreciably contributed his quota towards the development of the state.  He stated that the 70th birthday celebration will provide the former Governor an auspicious opportunity for introspection in his journey of life so far.

Ebie urged him to view the day as strategically set aside by his creator to count his blessings and offer praises to God.

“As a former Governor, this historic day marks not only a great leap forward in age but also the beginning of a new vista for contributing towards collective development and realization of sustainable development of Delta as a state, the Niger Delta region and the nation in general.

It also calls for introspection in your journey of life so far, with a view to counting your blessings and offering praises to your God’.

As you therefore celebrate this day, on behalf of my family, members of the Governing Board and Management of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), we congratulate you on your 70th birthday anniversary and wish you many more years in good health and sound mind.
