Drugs Abuse Killing Delta Youths – Gov aide cries out 

The Onishe of Ubulu Uku Kingdom, Senior Special Assistant on Youth Mobilization to the Delta State Governor, Chief James Onwordi Endurance known as Ibori Ubulu has called on stakeholders and youth representatives in Delta State to fight against drug abuse.
Onwordi underscored the urgent need for collective action to combat this scourge.
In a recent gathering with Youths in Ubulu-Uku, Aniocha South, Onwordi highlighted the detrimental impact of drug abuse on the intellectual capacity of young individuals, leading to decreased productivity.
He implored youths to actively discourage drug abuse within their communities to foster a brighter future.
“Drug abuse has become alarmingly prevalent, necessitating a unified approach to its eradication. By addressing this issue, we can significantly reduce instances of crime, as drug abuse often serves as a catalyst for criminal behavior,” emphasized Onwordi.
He urged stakeholders and youths alike to take a stand against drug abuse, emphasizing its adverse effects on health and future prospects..
Furthermore, Onwordi stressed the importance of reporting individuals engaged in drug abuse to safeguard their well-being and that of others.
