Canadian rapper Drake lost a $450,000 bet when Israel Adesanya was defeated by Dricus du Plessis in a UFC fight.
Drake bet on Adesanya, also known as the ‘Last Stylebender,’ to win back his UFC middleweight title in the main event. However, Adesanya lost the fight by choke submission.
If Adesanya had won, Drake would have earned $850,000.
Drake is known for frequently losing sports bets. In the past, he has also bet on fighters like Alex Pereira, Nate Diaz, Leon Edwards, and Francis Ngannou, but those bets didn’t go his way either.
