Many villagers in Tudun Biri of the Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State have lost their lives to a bomb explosion allegedly dropped by a military jet.
Reports say at least 30 persons were killed in the incident which happened at about 9 P.M on Sunday 03 November, 2023.
Sources say, the bomb exploded when villagers were gathered to commemorate Maulud.
As at the time of filing this report, the Overseeing Commissioner of the Kaduna State Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, could not reveal the accurate number of casualties affected by the explosion.
The commissioner stated that the Kaduna state government would make available information during a press conference at the Government House slated for 10: 00 a m.
“We will address the press at Government House on the situation because there would be a security meeting later. So, let’s meet by 10am”.
