Doma United FC, a Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) club based in Gombe, has announced the dissolution of its entire management team, technical crew and backroom staff following their relegation from the top-flight league last season.
This decision comes just two seasons after the club made its NPFL debut.
Founded in 1999 by Suleiman Umar, the club stated that this move is aimed at facilitating a swift return to the NPFL after finishing 18th last season.
The club is currently working to appoint a new management team, technical crew, and backroom staff who align with its vision and goals.
Doma United also announced that training for the 2024/25 season will commence on August 24, 2024, and players from the 2023/24 season will be retained.
The club emphasized that only top players who meet high standards and fit into its long-term plans will be recruited. The screening for new players will be conducted by invitation, and potential candidates are urged to stay alert.
