Skai Jackson, known for her roles on Disney Channel’s Jessie and Bunk’d, was arrested recently for misdemeanor domestic battery.
The incident occurred at Universal CityWalk in Los Angeles, where security personnel observed Jackson and her boyfriend involved in a heated argument.
According to reports via TMZ, the 22-year-old actress allegedly pushed her boyfriend multiple times, prompting security to intervene and call the police.
Despite the altercation, Jackson and her boyfriend claimed to be engaged and expecting their first child. However, after reviewing security footage, police confirmed the altercation and arrested Jackson. She was cited and released a few hours later.
The case is currently under review by the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office to determine if further charges will be filed. Jackson’s boyfriend’s identity has not been publicly disclosed, and Jackson has kept details of her relationship private.
This incident adds to Jackson’s history of legal issues; as she previously filed a restraining order against rapper Danielle Bregoli in 2020 following threats to her safety.
