Experienced coach, Alphonsus Dike, is the leading favourite to return as Rangers coach following the dismissal of Kelechi Emeteole. On Wednesday, ‘Caterpillar’ Emeteole was asked “to step aside” by Rangers. It was learnt from a very reliable source Dike, who several seasons ago handled ‘The Flying Antelopes’, will soon be announced as the new Rangers coach.
Dike last job was at another Nigeria premier league side Nasarawa United before he was eased out to make room for Kadiri Ikhana to ensure the Lafia club were not relegated two seasons ago. Rangers are currently 14th on the league table with 11 points from 10 matches.
