Embattled American rapper and music executive Sean Combs, also known as Diddy, has reportedly been removed from suicide watch.
Diddy was placed on suicide watch in prison after his arrest on September 16 by Homeland Security. He faces serious charges including sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transporting people across state lines for prostitution.
According to People magazine, a law enforcement source confirmed that Diddy is no longer on suicide watch as of September 29.
Another source shared that Diddy has been visited by family while in detention, awaiting his court appearance scheduled for early October.
“He’s focused and strong, preparing for his defense and upcoming trial,” Diddy’s lawyer told People.
In March, federal officers raided Diddy’s Beverly Hills mansion and seized items they believed were intended for wild parties, known as “freak offs.”
These items included drugs and over 1,000 bottles of baby oil. Diddy’s lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, explained in a documentary that the rapper buys baby oil in bulk from Costco, though Costco denied this claim.
Diddy has pleaded not guilty to all charges, but his bail request has been denied twice.
