Diddy Linked to Tupac Shakur’s 1996 Murder in New Court Documents

American music mogul Sean Combs, also known as Diddy, has been linked to the 1996 murder of rapper Tupac Shakur.

According to new court documents, Diddy is accused of paying $1 million for the assassination, carried out by suspect Duane “Keefe D” Davis. These documents were reported by the U.S. Sun.

The papers, filed on July 18, mention Diddy 77 times, using his various names: Puffy, Puff Daddy, Puff, and his real name, Sean Combs.

Defendant [Keefe] has publicly stated that he only incriminated himself and wasn’t trying to provide evidence against anyone else in his conversations with police. However, this statement contradicts that claim, as he suggested that Sean Combs paid Eric Von Martin a million dollars for the killings,” part of the documents read.

In one of the transcripts, Davis allegedly testified to Diddy’s involvement in Tupac’s murder. When police asked Davis, “Puffy Combs….Does he play a role in this thing?…”, Davis replied, “Yeah, I think he did.” Davis said Diddy told him and a group of about 45 people that he “would give anything” for Knight’s “head” because he was “scared” of him and also had a problem with Shakur after he released a diss track about him.

Prosecutors filed these documents to oppose Davis’ latest bail request. Last month, his $112,500 bail bond was rejected over concerns about the source of the money.

It’s still unclear if Diddy will be subpoenaed or indicted in this case.
