Delta State Governor Announces New Appointments

In a recent development, the Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori, has made significant appointments across various government agencies.
The announcement includes the appointment of Mrs. Roseline Eno Amioku and Barr. Ikechukwu Maduemezia as Chairman and Member, respectively, of the state Civil Service Commission. Additionally, Mr. Ukpaka Ikenna has been appointed as the Auditor-General Local Government.
These newly appointed officials are scheduled to be sworn in on Friday, May 10th, 2024, at 10 am, at the Unity Hall Government House in Asaba.
Furthermore, the Governor has reconstituted the Governing Council of the Delta State Polytechnic Ogwashi Uku. The council comprises Paul Adingwupu as Chairman, along with Barr. Chukwuma Oseyeinim, Senior Adibor, Mrs. Ojeah Patricia, and Prof. Mary Edema as members.
Similar inauguration ceremonies are set for other state tertiary institutions and agencies, which will also take place on May 10th, 2024, at the Unity Hall Government House in Asaba.
The list of appointees and members for various institutions includes prominent figures such as Gen. Alexander Odeareduo Ogomudia (Rtd) for Delta State University Abraka, Chief Oghene-aga Andrew Orugbo for Delta State Polytechnic Otefe-Oghara, and Hon. Sunny A. Emeyese for the College of Physical Education Mosogar, among others.
According to a statement released by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr. Kingsley Emu, the appointees and invited guests are expected to be seated for the event by 9:30 am.
