Delta Governor’s Aide Slams Nigerian Actor Olumide Oworu Over “Rascal” Behavior

In a scathing social media post, Ossai Ovie Success, a prominent social commentator and aide to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State, has strongly criticized Nigerian actor, model, and rapper turned politician Olumide Oworu for his recent actions on social media.
Ossai, in a Facebook post accompanied by photos of Oworu and his girlfriend, condemned the actor’s behavior as an “act of rascality.” He expressed his disdain for the public display of affection between Oworu and his girlfriend, which he deemed inappropriate and a sign of poor upbringing.
“Holding someone’s daughter that is not your wife romantically is an act of rascality,” Ossai declared. “Dear Olumide Oworu, your photo and that of your girlfriend is an evidence of poor parenting. If both of you had proper parental training and understanding of morality, you wouldn’t have taken a photo like this and you both certainly wouldn’t have shared it publicly.”
Ossai did not hold back in his criticism, suggesting that no responsible young man or woman would take such photos unless they were married. He further questioned Oworu’s intentions and commitment towards his girlfriend, implying that if she was indeed as amazing as Oworu claimed, he should have formalized their relationship by paying her bride price.
“You haven’t paid her bride price but yet you are coming online to refer to her as amazing girlfriend. If she is that amazing, why haven’t you paid her bride price? Why the delay?” Ossai questioned.
He concluded by attributing the behavior to a broader societal issue, stating, “Poor parenting is the major problem of our society.”
The post has sparked a flurry of reactions online, with many debating Ossai’s views on morality, public displays of affection, and the role of parental guidance in modern society.
