Musician D’banj has recognized the significant role his former business partner and producer, Don Jazzy, played in his career.
He stated that his musical journey wouldn’t be complete without Don Jazzy.
D’banj revealed this on Tuesday while sharing a video of his visit to Don Jazzy, where he gave him an invitation to his 20th-anniversary dinner in the music industry.
He mentioned that the visit brought back memories of the achievements they had reached together.
Posting the video on his X handle, D’banj wrote:
“My 20-year journey cannot be complete without @DONJAZZY! Giving him the invite to my anniversary dinner was nostalgic. As we celebrate 20 years in the industry, I’m reminded of the countless memories and milestones we’ve shared. Here’s to two decades of brotherhood, entertainment, and unwavering support. Love you always, Brother! OooSHeeeee.”
D’banj and Don Jazzy co-founded Mo’Hits Records in 2004. The label disbanded in 2012 due to differences in interests. Afterward, Don Jazzy started Mavins Record Label, and D’banj founded DB Records.
