The situation involves allegations of physical assault made by Cute Gemini against Lil Frosh, which reportedly led to the termination of his contract with DMW in 2020.
Lil Frosh, in his recent statement, claims that the alleged assault was a set-up orchestrated by Cute Gemini, and he has leaked chat messages from her pleading for them to get back together. He accuses her of ruining his reputation, and career, and causing him significant distress. Despite the controversy, Lil Frosh has publicly apologized and appealed for another chance to revive his career.
In his words, “Nigerians I am innocent I was framed by a woman I loved and cared for, yes I made a mistake I am only human, and I was really sorry I begged and begged, [but] no one was willing to listen to me @davido please one more chance.”
In response to Lil Frosh’s plea, Davido, the owner of DMW, has reportedly followed Lil Frosh back on Instagram. This follows Lil Frosh’s request for contract reinstatement and his assertion that he was innocent and framed by his ex-girlfriend.
