Popularly Nigerian music icon, David Adeleke, professionally known Davido, has released the music video for his chart-topping hit song ‘Away’.
The video featured Real Madrid stars like Vinicius Jr, Eduardo Camavinga, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Jude Bellingham, Toni Rudiger, and David Alaba.
The ‘Feel’ crooner took to social media on Tuesday 13 March, to thrill audiences with the announcement of the video’s long-awaited release.
‘Away’ is a standout single from Davido’s fourth studio album ‘Timeless’.
Captured in the video, viewers are taken on a luxurious journey as Davido and his entourage jet-set across the globe, boarding private jets and yachts while indulging in champagne celebrations.
The comely visuals also captured moments from Davido’s just-concluded ‘Timeless’ concert.
Released in March 2023, ‘Timeless’, his fourth studio album, got the famous singer his first Grammy Award nomination, securing nods in three different categories.
The nominations include; ‘Best Global Album’ accolade for ‘Timeless’, with ‘Unavailable’ garnering recognition in the ‘Best African Performance’ category, and ‘Feel’, earning a nomination for ‘Best Global Music Performance’.
