Davido joins forces with United Masters to launch his fresh Nine+ record label.
Starting out as the top artist of HKN, then founding Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), the Nigerian superstar now teams up with United Masters to kickstart a new label.
On April 18, 2024, United Masters announced the partnership on their official Instagram, calling it a “groundbreaking collaboration with Davido.” They hailed it as a game-changer for African music, set to elevate emerging artists to new heights.
Davido expressed his excitement about the collaboration, seeing it as a thrilling opportunity for both new and established artists worldwide.
This partnership marks United Masters’ latest venture in Nigeria, following their collaboration with Sarz Academy in 2023.
Davido’s Nine+ label comes after the recent rebranding of DMW 2.0, where he signed Morravey and Logos Olori, both featured on his Grammy-nominated album ‘Timeless’.
Davido recently made history as the third Nigerian artist to headline a sold-out concert at Madison Square Garden. With his success as a superstar and label boss, he aims to launch new artists into the spotlight through Nine+.
